A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and World championships in hurdle events in 2013, has only achieved this feat by putting in a lot of work and perseverance. The same year she also took home in the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track competition as well as Heusden.

Lesley Brandt, along with her entire family moved from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. In Auckland Brandt began her career as a retail worker, but was later upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley started her career as a commercial ad-writer after several modeling assignments. The actress graduated from her acting program in 2008 and continues to study Meisner's methods. Lesley Brandt had her first important acting role in New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street as a supporting visitor part. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the true tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
